so, today my car was parked in the bookstore lot for an extended amount of time (there’s a longer story for the reasoning behind this, but don’t worry about it) and i forgot to wake up in time to move it. i realized around 10 AM that my car was still there, but figured i already had a ticket so i didn’t bother getting up to move it.

anyway, i slept some more and took care of some other more important business (it relates to the longer story) before i went to check on my car. once i get to the bookstore, there’s no ticket. there’s also time on my meter. so i think what happened was that someone was feeding the meter to prevent me from getting ticket. hopefully not for the extended amount of time, because that is a significant amount of change spent. regardless, thank you kind stranger who was looking over me and kept me from getting a $35 ticket.
