Virginia Beach Public Schools Proposed Budget Cuts →
Like many other alumni from the VB School System, I am completely against most of these proposed budget cuts. This makes me kind of sad, considering that if I were still a student in this school system, I would be directly affected by most of these cuts. Come on, downtown…poor VB Schools.

I think I’m a day behind on this tumblr challenge, I think making this post catches me up.
Day 5: Describe an adventure you had this year.
I’ve had a lot of adventures this year, but my favorites would probably have to be the adventures that involve car rides at night and heart-to-heart conversations about almost anything until the early hours of the morning. Nothing beats late night car rides at the beach, in RVA, or in Blacksburg, and conversations that last until the sun is out.

I’ve learned sooo much this year, but the most important thing that I’ve learned is to be grateful the things (& people) that I have in my life. so, today my car was parked in the bookstore lot for an extended amount of time (there’s a longer story for the reasoning behind this, but don’t worry about it) and i forgot to wake up in time to move it. i realized around 10 AM that my car was still there, but figured i already had a ticket so i didn’t bother getting up to move it.

reliving freshman year
parts of these past few days have reminded me so much of experiences during freshman year. i thought i escaped this after i left…haha, jk, i don’t mind.
most recent example: i’m sitting in a room of 4 guys, who are talking about anime. WHY.

1st Generation iPod Nano Replacement
My sister sent me this earlier today because she remembered that I had a first generation nano from 2005.
Lucky for me, I’ve kept this iPod all these years in my nightstand just for fun. I guess when I go home over break and I can get the serial number and get a new iPod for free. Not that I need it. But still, cooool. Haha.

Not my major yet (until grad school, anyway) but my future career path is a mix of #3 and #6. More toward #3 though.

Why do you have the entire series of Secret Life of the American Teenager?
It’s a terrible show. And I am about to spend the next week or so watching the series instead of studying. Have I mentioned how terrible of a show it is? IT’S SO DUMB.

My mom called me tonight, which is a big deal to me since neither of my parents ever really call me. It’s always the other way around.
Anyway, the phone call came with a nice surprise. So yay.
